What is fun to do along Hainan Central Line?

Chengpo River Shijiu Group Geopark is a perfect blend of exquisitely shaped rocks, pristine and dense rain forests, and unpredictable river water along the west bank of the river. The wonder, antiquity, beauty, wildness and seclusion of nature are all on full display, like a fairyland, giving people the enjoyment of beauty, the cultivation of green and the refreshing experience. Surrounding it are Li and Miao villages, the simple and enthusiastic Li and Miao people, wonderful ethnic ecological songs and dances, and unique ethnic food...all these interweave to outline a beautiful Li and Miao cultural landscape. Chengpo River Stone Mortar Geopark is located on the west bank of Chengpo River in Heping Town, Qiongzhong County. On the riverbed of this river section is a group of stone mortars about 1,000 meters long and 300 meters wide. This is a rare geological wonder in my country and even in the world. Its large number, large size, exquisite shape and changeable water flow are breathtaking. The Chengpo River mortar group was mainly formed by the erosion of rock structure cracks or soft parts of rocks by water flow under strong hydrodynamic conditions over hundreds of thousands or even millions of years. In the scientific classification of geomorphology, it belongs to the water-ground mortar group. Walking along the west bank of the river, you can see stone mortars of various shapes and exquisite craftsmanship everywhere. Some look like round plates, some like large water vats, some like a farmer's feet, some like a plowshare, and some like a blooming lotus. On a huge rock at the highest point on the east bank, four large characters in cursive script are engraved horizontally: "Only war can survive." These characters were written by Wang Yi, the Kuomintang's garrison commander in Qiongya during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. The landscape of Chengpohe Shijiu Group Geopark integrates mountains, rocks, cliffs and rivers. The scenery is rich and colorful, combining into a gorgeous picture of the sky.
