Located in Xinfukou Lane, East Street, Quanzhou Ancient City, there is a well-known mysterious ancient temple✅ 💙Xuanmiao Ancient Temple, known as the "No. 1 Taoist Temple in Fujian", is the first Taoist temple after Taoism was introduced into Fujian. It was built during the Taikang period of the Western Jin Dynasty, more than 1,700 years ago. Because the main hall is dedicated to the Jade Emperor, who is revered as "Tian Gong" by Quanzhou people, Xuanmiao Temple is also commonly known as "Tian Gong Temple". It has always been the center of Taoist activities in Quanzhou‼ ️ 🌟Visiting guide: The Taoist temple is not big. There are mainly Sanqing Hall➡️Lingxiao Hall➡️Lingguan Hall in the temple. There are Wenchang Hall, God of Wealth Hall and Land Hall on both sides. Although it is a modern building after reconstruction, the magnificence and momentum of the whole Taoist temple are still amazing. The rebuilt Xuanmiao Temple integrates Taoist culture➕traditional ancient architectural craftsmanship in southern Fujian, with lacquer gold➕porcelain carving➕wood carving➕brick carving➕stone carving, meticulously crafted, gorgeous and exquisite, which is a feast for the eyes✅ [Sanqing Hall] Sanqing Hall is the most important hall in the Taoist temple. It enshrines Yuqing Yuanshi Tianzun, Shangqing Lingbao Tianzun, and Taiqing Daode Tianzun, which are the "Three Pure Ones", and is worshipped together with Donghua Emperor and Xiwang Jinmu. There are nine flying dragons in front of the hall. The stone dragon pillars in front of the door are too eye-catching. There are 6 of them, which are finely carved. The flying dragons turn their bodies around the pillars, which is particularly vivid✅ [Lingxiao Hall] Lingxiao Hall is the most magnificent, enshrining the Jade Emperor, the Supreme of the Three Realms, with Taiyi Jiuku Tianzun and Leisheng Puhua Tianzun on the left and right, and the Four Imperials Zhongtian Ziwei Beiji Dadi, Gouchen Shanggong Tianhuang Dadi, Nanji Changsheng Dadi, Chengtianxiaofa Houtu Huangdizhi on both sides. There are 28 stone pillars throughout the building, symbolizing the twenty-eight constellations as guardian gods. On the roof, there are eight immortals in front and three stars of happiness, wealth and longevity in the back. There are also flying musicians holding various musical instruments at the brackets. It is said that flying musicians are unique decorations of Quanzhou temples and are rarely seen in other places✅ [Lingguan Temple] The deity enshrined is Lingguan Emperor, and on both sides are statues of Zhao Yuanshuai, the guardian of Xuantan, Ma Yuanshuai, the emperor of Huaguang, Wen Yuanshuai, the guardian of Dongyue, and Yue Yuanshuai, the loyal and patriotic emperor✅ 💕There is also a row of Taoist displays and introductions in the corridor behind the Lingxiao Hall.
