Standing by the lake, watching the mist slowly dissipate, the lake is like a mirror, reflecting the surrounding green mountains and blue sky, which is breathtakingly beautiful. Strolling along the trails around the lake, you will enjoy the different scenery in each season. In spring, wild flowers decorate the lakeside; in summer, lush trees cover the lake with green; in autumn, red maples reflect in the lake, like an oil painting; in winter, the frozen lake surface is like a fairy tale world. What I like best is sitting on a bench by the lake at dusk, watching the sunset dye the lake red, listening to the chirping of birds returning to their nests, and feeling the tranquility and harmony of nature. Wilcox Lake is a great place to relax and get close to nature, and it keeps me coming back every time I visit.
