A mountain refuge

Rifugio are famous amongst many of the alpine trails of Northern Italy as a place to stop, relax and get a hearty meal after a long strenuous hike. Rifuigio Capanna Grassi located just over 1000m above sea level is not exception to this after taking the long and often steep in parts hike from either Lake Garda or Lake Tenno you are greater by both warm hospitality and an alpine meadow.
