Sheraton Rizhao: A Hidden Gem for Vacations in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai I always thought Shandong was far away, but I was surprised to find that it only took a little over two hours to reach Rizhao by high-speed rail from Yangzhou. The transportation is very convenient. The Sheraton Rizhao Hotel exceeded my expectations, comparable to established resort hotels in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, such as the InterContinental Thousand Island Lake Resort. It's definitely an underrated vacation destination. Excellent Location, Convenient Transportation The hotel opened in 2021, and after a few years of operation, its standards are consistently high. It's located near Wanpingkou Scenic Area, nestled in a bay, next to a wharf, making it convenient to go out to sea. It's also close to various attractions and shopping centers, making sightseeing and shopping a breeze. Comprehensive Facilities, Grand Ambiance The hotel is large-scale with complete facilities, perfectly suited for both vacation and business purposes. The lobby is magnificent, with a hollow design that exudes grandeur. The lush green lawn outside the hotel adds to the resort atmosphere. Notably, the fitness center occupies its own building, and the swimming pool has excellent natural lighting, making swimming here a pleasant and enjoyable experience. 🏘️Room Type/Layout: I stayed in the Ambassador Suite, which is over 120 square meters, offering ample space. The arc-shaped floor-to-ceiling windows facing the sea provide a panoramic ocean view. The round bathtub facing the wharf is romantic and comfortable. The large balcony is even big enough for jogging. The living experience is superb. 🛌Amenities/Facilities: The room is fully equipped with high-quality bedding and exquisite toiletries to meet all your needs. 🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a quiet stay. The cleaning is thorough, and the room is spotless. Unique Suite Experience Staying in the Ambassador Suite is truly worthwhile! The most enjoyable moment of each day was soaking in the bathtub at night, enjoying the sea breeze and music, washing away all the fatigue. If your budget allows, I highly recommend experiencing this room type. Dining and Lounge Features The hotel is not a traditional resort hotel and has an executive lounge on the top floor. The lounge offerings and breakfast incorporate many local specialties, such as pancakes, which are unique and flavorful. The lounge offers a great view, and there's also a rooftop terrace next to it (currently closed) with stunning scenery, perfect for taking photos. Don't miss it during your stay. 💗Other Tips: - Book the Ambassador Suite in advance to enjoy the fantastic sea view and spacious room. - Pay attention to hotel promotions for potential discount packages. - Be mindful of safety and follow hotel regulations when taking photos on the rooftop terrace.
