Where to Go Sea Fishing in Rizhao? I Won't Go Anywhere Else!!

My sea fishing trip in Rizhao was absolutely unforgettable! Today, I'm sharing a guide to Rizhao's sea fishing spots so you can easily enjoy the fun of sea fishing 😎 Fishing Spots - Zizaige Sea Fishing Park: Located in the waters surrounding the central Huangdao fishing port, the fishing platforms are over 100 meters offshore, with a water depth of 5–8 meters and an area of over 1,600 square meters. They chum the waters daily to attract fish, including blackhead fish, sea bass, grouper, and other abundant species. Round-trip yacht transfers are provided, along with tables, chairs, landing nets, and other equipment. Facilities are comprehensive, including a restaurant, a small shop, and restrooms. - Rizhao World Sailing Championship Sea Fishing Club: Offers inshore and offshore fishing. Inshore fishing (3–4 nautical miles) costs CNY 280/4 hours; offshore fishing (7–10 nautical miles) costs CNY 380/4 hours. The captain provides patient instruction and supplies life jackets, fishing gear and bait, mineral water, and insurance. You can take home the fish you catch for free.  - Peach Blossom Island: One of the best spots for lure fishing in autumn. The surrounding waters are rich in fish, and the scenery is beautiful, allowing you to enjoy the island scenery while fishing.  - Feijiazhuang Dam: Free sea fishing is available here. You can catch sea bass, hairtail, blackhead fish, and more. Fishing tools are also provided free of charge. Fishing Preparation - Equipment: Bring basic equipment such as a sea fishing rod, sinkers, hooks, PE line, fishing rigs, and reels. If you don't want to bring your own, some fishing spots offer rentals. - Bait: Recommended baits include lugworms, sand lance, shrimp, ragworms, squid strips, and sea intestines, as these are popular with fish. - Other Items: Prepare sun protection such as sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. To prevent seasickness, take seasickness medication or apply a seasickness patch half an hour in advance. Also, bring drinking water, food, and some common medications. Fishing Tips - Timing: The best times to fish are at dawn and dusk, just as the tide is rising or halfway up, and just as it's receding or halfway down. The best time of the month for fishing is during the spring tide. - Finding Fishing Spots: Fish habitats can be divided into fixed spots, such as docks, estuaries, and reefs, and moving spots, such as currents, under waves, and near the outlets of seaside fish farms. Important Notes - Check the weather and sea conditions in advance and avoid going out in bad weather. - Don't go on an empty stomach, or eat too much or have greasy food before boarding. - Wear a life jacket at all times and follow the instructions of the captain and staff. - Protect the marine environment and do not litter.
