Iturup is one of the islands on Russian Far East that is still doesn’t have that many tourists and is not a popular destination at all. There are very few really nice hotels there, majority of the places are just apartments and places similar to hostels. But the thing why you really need to explore that unique area is a beautiful and wild untouched nature. One of the places there that will really blow your mind is a thermal spring located at the foot of the volcano named Baranskiy. The temperature in this thermal spring is so high that one can easily boil the eggs there. And that’s what we did! Just be very careful.
