Halle Gate Brussels ๐Ÿ›๏ธ

#timetotravel The Halle Gate, situated at the edge of Brussels' historic center, is a captivating relic of the city's medieval past. As I approached this ancient gateway, I was immediately transported back in time to the days when it served as a crucial entry point to the city. The gate's imposing stone walls, fortified towers, and drawbridge evoke a sense of medieval grandeur. Inside, the Halle Gate houses the Brussels City Museum, offering an immersive journey through the city's history. What truly sets the Halle Gate apart is its role as a time capsule, preserving the stories of centuries gone by. It's a place where you can explore the evolution of Brussels, from its medieval origins to its vibrant present. The Halle Gate is a must-visit for history enthusiasts and anyone intrigued by the rich tapestry of Brussels' past. It's a hidden gem that invites you to step into history and discover the city's enduring legacy. #brussels #belgium #bruxelles

[Brugge, the Venice of Belgium] This time, I'll introduce you to Bruges, a city near Brussels that many people may not have heard of or know about! ๐Ÿ˜ Bruges is close enough to get to from Brussels by train in an hour and a half. It would be nice to combine it with other cities near Brussels, such as Ghent or Leuven! There's a park you pass by when you get off the train and go into the city, which is Minnewaterpark. It's also called the Lake of Love, so there were quite a few people because it's a tourist attraction.! If you go from the park to the city, you can see a monastery, and the exterior looks really pretty!๐Ÿค Bruges is also famous as a city of canals, and wherever you go, you'll find water. In particular, boat tours along the canals are a must-see for tourists. If you walk a little while looking around the canals, you'll arrive at Marktplatz, the central square of Bruges! The wide square is surrounded by beautiful buildings with a medieval feel, and carriages pass by, so it felt like I had taken a time machine and gone back in time. In the central square, there is a bell tower with a clear view of Bruges, a very beautiful courthouse, and especially when I visited, there was a Christmas market because it was the end of the year, so there was a lot to see. There are also many shops around the square, so it's nice to look around! The city is small, so if you walk around and look around, it takes about half a day~ I recommend going on a day tour from Brussels๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป #Bruges travel #Bruges travel #Brussels travel #Belgium travel #Bruges #Bruges #Brussels #Belgium #Brussels suburbs #belgium #brussels #bruxelles #bruges #Next time here#Christmas travel#2019 travel#Life travel destination#New year#Year-end travel#Winter travel#City travel
