National Museum of Japanese History in Sakura

I went to the National Museum of Japanese History, which is about a 15-20 minute walk from Keisei Sakura Station! The admission fee is 1200 yen for adults, and I arrived on a weekday afternoon, but the museum was so quiet that it was easy to see. There were exhibits of history and monuments from the ancient Jomon period to the present, the things people ate and used, and things that were popular. For example, in the past, there were pottery, ancient tombs, and matchlock guns, and more recently, festival portable shrines, boats, Godzilla, shampoo, and cosmetics. Various things were exhibited as the times changed. Along the way, there was a place where you could experience a Terakoya school, and a local volunteer helped you write old characters, the name of the place where you live, and your own name in old characters! It took about 10 minutes and was free to try! We were the only ones there when I went, but they said that there may be a waiting time on weekdays and during long holidays! There are large buildings and animals on display, and some impressive exhibits, so why not check out the National Museum of Japanese History in Sakura! #ChibaTourism #Chiba #KeiseiSakura #Sakura #NationalMuseumofJapaneseHistory #HistoryMuseum #MuseumTrip #Museum #History #Japan #SoloTrip #Trip
