Mozart's baptismal font remains in Salzburg Cathedral, Austria

Salzburg Cathedral will celebrate its 1250th anniversary this year in 2024. Salzburg is the city where Mozart was born, and he was baptized in Salzburg Cathedral. The baptismal font still remains. (Photos 2-3) The lions supporting the font were made around the 12th century, and reminded me of the lions in the Alhambra Palace in Spain. The ceiling paintings are also wonderful, so they are worth seeing! Going up the stairs to the basement, you will find the tomb and the sarcophagus of Archbishop Colloredo.
