The Sea Train is a tourist train that allows you to see the beautiful seascape of Gangneung on the way to Samcheok Beach Station, with one side of the train made entirely of glass. 2️⃣ Honest Octopus Samcheok Branch I got off at Samcheok Beach Station and headed to a nearby restaurant. This place is a 5-minute walk from Samcheok Beach Station, so you don't need to take a separate car. And when you come to Gangneung, you have to eat seafood! This is an octopus specialty restaurant that sells octopus rice bowls, octopus seafood pancakes, octopus hotpot, and yeonpotang. Eat some delicious octopus bibimbap and start your Samcheok day trip! 3️⃣ Samcheok Port Crab Street Samcheok Port has a crab street where crab restaurants are gathered~ Since it is located near Samcheok Port, it is not only delicious but also a place to enjoy the sights. Even if you don't eat crab, they sell various seafood and dried fish, so it's a good place to buy seafood and look around while reading a book. 4️⃣ Maengbang Beach aka. Bangtan Beach Samcheok Maengbang Beach, famous for the photoshoot site of BTS' Butter album jacket! There are photo zones decorated according to the album concept, so it has become a hot place visited by many domestic and international tourists. Originally, it was called Maengbang Beach, but after BTS visited and a photo zone was created, it became even more famous as BTS Beach💜 If there was just the ocean, it would have been ordinary, but since it was decorated beautifully with the BTS Butter album concept, the ocean looks even prettier~ 5️⃣ Deokbongsan Coastal Ecological Trail Not far from Maengbang Beach, there is Deokbongsan Coastal Ecological Trail. This place is also a good place to take a walk. The curved bridge to Deokbongsan was a hot Instagram place😀 Although it is called Deokbong'san, it is actually closer to a hill than a mountain~ And since you can climb up to the top by stairs, even beginners can climb up and come back without any burden. 4️⃣ Chogok Yonggul Candlestick Rock The last course where you can see the blue ocean right from above Chogok Yonggul Candlestick Rock Road This is a pretty long walking course, so I recommend going before the sunset and seeing it! If you follow the long~ walking path along the sea, you can see a great ocean view and rocks. Among them, there is a rock shaped like a candle🕯️ and a rock shaped like a turtle🐢, which are famous! And there is a suspension bridge in the middle of the walking path. Some parts of the bridge have a transparent floor, so you can see the waves crashing under the floor. The path is quite long, so after walking around once, the sunset was setting.
