Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum

Amazing hidden gem in the heart of San Jose. It looks small from the outside but like the ancient pyramids, there's more than meets the eye. There are actually several levels inside, including an underground tunnel and recreation of a tomb deep within the catacombs. The grounds are much more extensive than what can be seen from the street and are nothing short of spectacular, including sculptures, fountains and ancient Egyptian symbols hidden amongst the myriad trees and swaying Papyrus. There are plenty of authentic artifacts and relics to look at and to read about. The tomb replica were you walk-thru was a nice touch and gave it an immersive experience. #wheretogo
