Planning a Trip to Santorini, Greece

First of all, when visiting Europe, we need to obtain a Schengen visa. Once the documents are ready, you can fly from Bangkok to Athens, the capital of Greece. You can choose to visit Athens before heading to Santorini or stop by on the way back. Upon arrival in Athens, take a connecting flight to the dreamy Santorini, which takes about 3 hours. Once you reach the airport, it's only a 20-minute journey into town as the island is quite small, making everything easily accessible. There are two main transportation options: - By taxi: Taxis are available at the airport, and most of them are Mercedes. Make sure they use the meter, and the cost should be around 15-20 euros. - By rental car: This is very convenient. Before coming, get an international driving permit from the Department of Land Transport for about 505 baht. Once you arrive, pick up the car you've reserved and drive into town. The roads are good, but there are frequent ups and downs due to the hilly terrain. An automatic transmission is recommended for an easier drive.
