Sanya Family Hotel Review - Shangri-La

Just back from Sanya, let's talk about the stay experience at Shangri-La Resort Sanya 🏨Booking & 💰Cost: 🐬Booked a 4-day 3-night Deluxe Tower King Room package (including breakfast + afternoon tea + happy hour) + 1 hotel lunch/dinner. The room also has a sofa bed🛏️, very comfortable for 2 adults and 1 child. The whole package was over 2700 yuan, which is really good value for money. Relied entirely on the hotel package for meals over the 4 days, didn't order any takeout or eat out 🚗Transport: About 50 minutes🕰️ from the airport to the hotel, 75 yuan by Didi. 🏠Room & Layout: Deluxe Tower is a separate building, with breakfast, afternoon tea, and happy hour all in this building. The room is very spacious, over 60 sqm. In addition to a 1.8m wide bed, there's also a 1.5m sofa bed, very comfortable for 2 adults and 1 child. There's also a balcony where you can dry swimsuits👙 promptly. 🛏️Amenities & Facilities: Bathroom products are all from L'Occitane. Unfortunately, the hairdryer is still the traditional kind. Curtains are electrically controlled. 🤶🏻Service: 🐬Booking through their platform includes a butler who adds you on WeChat in advance to confirm check-in details (seems like other channels don't have this butler service, even the official ones) As soon as we got off the car, the butler was waiting in the lobby and took us to the Deluxe Tower C/I in the shuttle, introducing the hotel's various facilities along the way. The hotel butler seems to be online 24 hours, always ready to answer questions and fulfill requests. Apart from the butler, other staff members are also very friendly, from the aunties in the corridors to the gardeners in the park, all proactively greeting guests. The teachers for the children's activities are also very patient. The lifeguards by the pool are quite responsible. The service definitely lives up to the five-star standard. (On the last night, to avoid rushing for the flight✈️, booked another night at an international five-star hotel in Sanya Bay, and the service was really worlds apart ) 🍛Dining: Breakfast at the Deluxe Tower is quite good (the main building's Culinary Stage is even better, with a children's dining area and TV📺), happy hour is okay, but the afternoon tea has a limited selection, only cookies🍪, bread, and dried fruit. Overall, the taste is good, and if you're not too picky, it's completely possible to solve all meals within the hotel. The barbecue dinner at Shangri-La Resort Sanya's Xiangzhen Garden is good, with a wide variety and great taste. Definitely worth a try.
