Experience the surfing culture vibe in Houhai

Getting There - You can take the speed train (to Yalong Bay - railway station), plane (to Sanya) and then a Didi/taxi to the Houhai village. The taxi/Didi will drop you off at the entrance of the village. You can walk or take the golf cars to your hotel. Attractions - The beach is absolutely beautiful blue. Close by is the Rice Park which have massive dinosaurs (7km). We went to the Yalong Bay Glass bridge which is in the rain forest, (about 27km from Houhai beach). It was definitely worth it to go and walk on the glass bridge (with no cracking affect). On top of the glass bridge we took the 3km slide down. Woah, that was fast and rough. Hotels - There are a few hotels on the beach with bathtubs and swimming pools. Food & Restaurants - There are Western restaurants. The burger place I would highly recommend and the Brazilian BBQ. Shopping - There are lots of little shops to buy souvenirs or last minute things you forgot to pack.#staycation #beachlife #surfervibes #houhaivillage #islandlife
