What an amazing week we have had in Houhai, Sanya. This is the place in China to learn how to surf. Houhai sits in a shell shaped bay that allows for a safe environment for people learning how to surf. Being in Houhai with its restaurant strip and coconut sellers reminds you of backpacker Thailand or Vietnam. The vibe is mellow and surfy.
