Otaru fish market Walk to find delicious seafood next to Otaru station 2. Otaru canal Otaru canal on a day when the snow falls, very romantic. Around the canal, there are many places to take pictures. At the beginning of the canal, there are a lot of tourists because it's where tour groups come down. If you walk up a little bit, there will be fewer people. There is plenty of time to take beautiful pictures. 3. Kitakaro Main Shop Otaru, a famous dessert shop. The dessert is very delicious. After taking pictures at Otaru Canal, don't forget to stop by and eat. 4. Otaru Aquarium, go see the penguin parade 3 times a day at 10.30, 12.30, 14.30, but we didn't make it in time for the show 😭 Date 15/2/68 Sapporo Sign Seeing Day 1. Nijo Fish Market, a lot of fresh seafood to choose from, but we didn't take pictures for this meal, lol 2. Sapporo TV Tower, another check-in point in Sapporo. You can go up and see the view from above. But we stopped to take pictures around the area instead. 3. The next check-in point is the Sapporo clock tower. 4. Luckily, today the snow started to melt, the sky started to open up, and the streets in Sapporo were easier to walk on, and not slippery. Even though the sun was shining like this, the temperature was 2 degrees Celsius, so it was very cold. 5. After trying the eclair at Kitakaro in Otaru and being impressed, it was the most delicious eclair I've ever had. Today, I decided to stop by Sapporo to eat it. Anyone who wants to come must wait in line. The shop opens at 11:00, only accepting 4-5 tables per round. 6. The next check-in point is the former government office, another landmark of Sapporo. If anyone comes, don't forget to stop by and take pictures. The beautiful old building, combined with the snow, makes for beautiful pictures. The renovation is almost complete. 7. After having lunch, we went back to our accommodation to rest and recharge our energy from the morning. Waiting for the sunset view at Mount Moiwa ropeway and observation desk On 16/2/2568, starting and ending at Susukino, this morning we stopped for coffee at McDonald's 1. Hill of Buddha, travel by subway Sapporo mainline for about 30 minutes and then take a bus for another 30 minutes, we will arrive at Hill of Buddha. On the way here, the view on both sides is very beautiful. There are many places to take pictures, both Stonehenge and the dome of the Buddha statue in meditation posture, which has no roof on top. The snow falling on the Buddha statue is very beautiful. Not to mention the natural view covered with white snow as far as the eye can see. Anyone who visits Sapporo during this time should not miss it. We spent almost half a day here. 2. In the afternoon after lunch, we thought about going to the Ice Festival at Lake Shikotsu, which is held only once a year. Because the journey is quite far... But we went..😅 We traveled from Sapporo JR sta. to Chitose JR sta. to take a bus, but the bus was full, so we didn't stop at this stop. Luckily, we met 2 more Thai people who were going to the same place. So we split the taxi fare for a round trip, which was 7,000 yen, but it was worth it to see the ice sculptures for the first time. So exciting! 🤩 3. The view of Lake Shikotsu is absolutely stunning!
