The Serapeum of Saqqara is an ancient Egyptian tomb dedicated to the sacred bull Apis, located north of Djoser's funeral complex in Lower Egypt. The bull, worshiped as a deity, was mummified and buried after devoting his life to ceremonies and sacrifices at his temple in Memphis.
