Butrint national archeological park

When visiting Sarenda, take the bus to the last stop and you will find the Butrint national park. Entry costs 1000 LEK for adults, and is 800 LEK for groups of 12 or more. Inside you will find a stunning remnant to a time long gone. Roman ruins, Byzantine ruins and Ottoman history too. There are approximately fifteen major sites that include Roman mosaics. There is also a small museum that you can visit inside the main basilica. #albania
