Aobayama Park

#thingstodo We walked up there from Sendai station. It was long. But definitely worth it (on the way back we took the subway, only 3 stops to Sendai). It is a beautiful climb (steep) and you get to the old castle, then a few more steps and you are before the statue that inspired the Star Wars character. Beautiful view of the city. Going down is a breeze and you will listen to the many birds hiding in the thick trees.
