National Treasure: Osaki Hachiman Shrine

The long floor is designated as an important cultural property of the country, and the stone torii gate is designated as an important cultural property of the prefecture. At the "Donto Festival" on January 14th (designated as an intangible folk cultural property by Sendai City), pine decorations and old bills are burned to pray for good health and prosperity in the new year, and the "hadaka mairi" that takes place at this time is famous throughout the country. In addition, the annual festival is held every September, and in September, Noh Kagura (designated as an intangible folk cultural property by the prefecture) is performed, and the following day, a large portable shrine is paraded through the neighboring towns, and a Yabusame Shinji is held in the precincts.
