Tokyo to Sendai Cherry Blossom Viewing

Traveling from Tokyo to Sendai is quick and convenient with the Tohoku Shinkansen, taking as little as 90 minutes and costing around HKD 600. April marks the cherry blossom season in Sendai, where the city is enveloped in pink hues. Among the must-visit spots near the city center are Tsutsujigaoka Park and Nishimachi Park, both of which are stunningly beautiful. These parks also feature evening illuminations after 6 PM, creating a serene and magical atmosphere. Upon arriving in Sendai around 5 PM after my flight, I found my hotel conveniently located near Nishimachi Park. I decided to take a stroll, and to my surprise, it was an unforgettable experience! It was Friday, April 4th, during the peak bloom period, or "mankai," when the blossoms are at their best. The area was surprisingly quiet, with few passersby or tourists, allowing me to peacefully admire the blossoms glowing under the night sky. The soft streetlights added a unique charm to the scene, making it truly enchanting.
