Day 3 of Seoul Tour: From Container Market to Seongsu-dong, Classic Food and Literary Adventure

The day's trip started at the Container Market, which is filled with brightly colored containers. Each small stall is full of personality and sells simple souvenirs and snacks. Although it is not the highlight of the itinerary, there is a relaxing atmosphere when strolling through it, which sets the stage for the subsequent trip to the Holy Water Cave. Then we came to Shengshui Cave, which was indeed the paradise for literary youths as rumored, with shops with a strong sense of design everywhere. The first stop was a coffee shop hidden in an alley. The sun shone through the window, and I could quietly enjoy the aroma of a cup of coffee and slow down my pace. I couldn't help but want to stay here for a while. At lunch time, we went to a popular potato and pork rib soup restaurant. It is said that even Baek Jong-won strongly recommends this restaurant. The soup served on the table is rich and mellow, and the ribs are so tender that you almost don't need to chew them. Every bite of soup and meat can make you feel the rich layers of Korean cuisine, which is unforgettable. For dinner, we chose Shengguang Sausage, a restaurant that only offers sausage dishes in certain branches. The golden and crispy sausages are paired with a special sauce, and every bite is full of aroma and chewy texture, perfectly interpreting the unique charm of Korean barbecue. It would be a pity if you don’t eat grilled sausages when you come to Korea. The grilled sausages in this restaurant are definitely worth a try.
