Seoul | Refreshing Beef Soup at the Local Eatery in the Express Bus Terminal

If you're like me and love shopping until your legs give out, and you're looking for an affordable and cool place to sit down and grab a bite, then you definitely shouldn't miss this unassuming little udon shop in the underground street of the Express Bus Terminal! It's tucked away in a corner of the underground street, not very noticeable but always has a few locals lining up. The shop is small and simply decorated, but it has that 'everyday' feel you often see in Korean dramas—it's the kind of place where office workers come after work for a bowl of soup, and ajummas (middle-aged women) stop by after shopping. I ordered a steaming bowl of beef soup rice. The broth is simple but not boring, somewhat like a lighter version of Korean broth. After finishing the meal, I felt completely refreshed because the air conditioning is really strong! Although it's not one of those Instagram-worthy spots, it's very filling and affordable. I highly recommend coming here to recharge.
