Seoul's historical check-in hotspots｜Gyeongbokgung Palace: Enter the secret realm of the royal palace

It would be a pity to just go shopping in Seoul, this time I deliberately lined up a morning to slowly walk into Gyeongbokgung Palace to feel the momentum and history of the Joseon Dynasty. Gyeongbokgung Palace, the first of the five great palaces in Seoul, has been built since 1395 (i.e., the twenty-eighth year of the Chinese Ming Taizu Hongwu), the political core of the pre-Joseon Dynasty at that time. Historically, it was destroyed several times until the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Korea in 1995, when the government began to demolish the buildings during the Japanese occupation and re-established Gyeongbokgung Palace on a large scale.
