Seoul Namsan Tower

If you're planning a trip to Seoul, aside from popular shopping spots like Myeongdong and Seongsu-dong, I highly recommend dedicating half a day to visit Seoul Namsan Tower! Starting from Exit 4 of Myeongdong Station, you can begin your leisurely walk towards Namsan. This time, we chose to hike all the way up, enjoying both the exercise and the scenic views along the way. Although it was a bit challenging, reaching the summit was incredibly rewarding 💪🏼. The path is well-marked, so there's no need to worry about getting lost. Plus, there are benches along the way for resting, making the hike very friendly overall. ⏱ It took us about 40 minutes to reach the top (those who exercise regularly might be faster). Of course, you can also opt for the cable car or bus to save time and energy, though these options may incur additional costs. I suggest deciding based on your physical condition or the situation on the day. At the summit, you'll find a shopping mall, cafes, and souvenir shops where you can relax, enjoy the view, and browse items featuring the SEOUL logo. For the descent, we chose to walk again, which took about 20 minutes and was much easier compared to the climb. If you have some free time, I highly recommend adding Namsan Tower to your itinerary. It's not just a tourist attraction but also a delightful mini hiking experience filled with beautiful scenery and a perfect pace! ⛰️
