Main royal palace of Joseon dynasty

There are many palaces in Seoul to explore. If you come to Seoul during autumn, I would highly recommend to visit Gyeongbokgung. Built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung was the home of Joseon kings and their household and also the headquarter of the government. The whole compound is huge with Mount Bugak situated right behind the palace. Like all other palaces in South Korea, this palace looks magnificent in autumn. I like the charms and the calm of the season adding to the majestic palace. It is also the locals’ favourite as I spotted some of them donned the traditional hanbok for photo taking here. #fallingforfall
