Recently they have shifted from the old market to a new market which I think is really good for the vendors. It will be an experience picking out your own mix of fish, seafood such as lobster, king crab, clams and raw fishes. You may be overwhelmed by the number of stalls asking you to view or choose from them. After buying your seafood from one of your selected stores, they will actually bring you to another floor (usually is L3 to L5) to a restaurant to prepare your dishes. You will have to pay for the cooking and service provided by the restaurant. The restaurant and vendor stall may not be the same owner by they may work in partnership. This market is a definitely worth to visit when you are in Seoul to either experience the wet market or the food itself. Should you have time to go to Busan or Jeju Island, it will also be good to visit for seafood as these cities are nearer to the sea as compared to Seoul.
