Eastern Marble Mountains, Italy

When talking about Italy, one will think of Roman ruins, churches and murals; when talking about the Alps, one will think of Switzerland; the combination of Italy and the Alps is the marble mountains that I will introduce today - the Dolomites in northern Italy. It is about a two-hour drive east from Venice. The main town is Cortina, one of the host cities of the next Winter Olympics. It is surrounded by mountains. The balcony of the hotel room has a 180-degree mountain view. You don't have to travel and can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the golden mountain in the sun. The mountain view has three peaks and five towers. To see the three peaks in person, you need to walk for about two hours on a barren gravel road.
