Filled with history, culture, scenery and incredible food to boot, spending three weeks here can disappear in the blink of an eye. So how best to spend your time? 5 days in Shanghai (you can have a day trip to SuZhou here) - here you can see Nanjing Road, The Bund, the French concession, Jingan Temple, Xuhui district and much more 4 days in Xian - obviously the biggest sight to see is the Terracotta Warriors which will take a whole day. there is also a show at the city walls in the evening which shouldn’t be missed and food in the Muslim quarter 4 days in Chengdu - the pandas if that’s you’re kind of thing. Chengdu is a great place to chill, get lost and drink lots of craft beer! Go to the Tibetan area! 5 days in Guilin (you can have a day trip to Yangshuo here) - The lakes, the caves, the rice terraces, Yangshou and a show I travelled with my 60+ year old dad and aunt and we took the train between cities - it’s a lot but it’s not impossible!!
