After driving for an hour from Shangrao Sanqingshan to Wangxiangu, here are some honest and practical suggestions. Before you go, make sure to do your research. Here are some personal insights: 1. Which one to visit? Nearby Wunvzhou, Gexiancun, and Wangxiangu are all man-made attractions, mainly featuring night lights with different styles. Wunvzhou has more performances, Gexiancun seems to have dragon dances, and Wangxiangu has beautiful lighting. Choose based on your preference; I personally like Wangxiangu's style. 2. Is it worth visiting? For me, it was worth it. I was attracted by the architectural layout, and the real scene is not much different from the online photos. It's worth it if you can take good photos. There are many tour groups, so choose to go during the off-season to enhance your experience. 3. Visiting time: Once you exit with a ticket, you can't re-enter. You can enter around 3 PM; the core area is a bit far from the entrance. Arrive at the core area around 5 PM to see the sunset and night view. The blue hour (half an hour after sunset) is particularly beautiful! The night view is also stunning! 4. What's inside? Honestly, there's not much to do. It's mainly an ancient-style snack street and cultural shops, mainly for photography. We took photos until 9 PM before returning to the homestay. The performances are not very impressive. There's a glass walkway, but compared to Sanqingshan's walkway, it's not much. Rafting is closed in autumn and winter. 5. Are there many mosquitoes and insects? In autumn and winter, there aren't many mosquitoes and insects, but bring mosquito repellent just in case. There are many trees and water, so there will definitely be some insects. 6. Is it tiring? The paths inside are relatively flat, so it's not strenuous to walk. 7. How are the prices inside? Slightly more expensive than outside, but acceptable. A Shangrao chicken leg is 15 yuan, a grilled squid is 10 yuan, and a bowl of shrimp vermicelli is 20 yuan. You can bring some snacks if you want. 8. Photography spots: The two best spots for photos are Baige Bridge and Baihe Cliff. Other places also offer good photo opportunities. The blue hour (half an hour after sunset) is beautiful for photos! If you have a drone, bring it! Some popular angles can only be captured by drones! 9. Renting Hanfu: I researched many Hanfu stores before going. There are many pitfalls, like charging extra for photo negatives. It's better to rent and take photos yourself to avoid these issues. I didn't find one I liked. 10. Accommodation: Whether to stay in the scenic area depends on your budget. If you have a high budget, you can stay in a homestay inside the scenic area, which is convenient for seeing the sunrise the next day. If your budget is low, you can stay in a homestay outside the scenic area, which is also close. Personally, after seeing the night view, there's no regret.
