Just returned from Wangxian Valley, time for some honest thoughts!

[Loupe] Travel Route The Wangxian Valley scenic area isn't too large, and the most stunning time is around dusk when the lights turn on. So, I recommend arriving at the scenic area around 3 PM. After entering, you'll pass by three flying waterfalls, and then you can stroll through the market streets, where you'll find many local Jiangxi specialty snacks to savor. In the evening, climb up Baihe Cliff to overlook the distant ancient town and wait for the magical blue hour when the lights come on! On the way down, you'll pass Lanyue Bridge and Baizhou Bridge, where you can admire the cliffside homestays from afar! (I brought my 5-year-old kid along, and it was perfect for walking and exploring. When it rained later, it truly felt like a fairyland!) 📍 Location: Wangxian Valley Scenic Area, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province 🎫 Ticket: 140 RMB/person (price subject to change by the scenic area) 🕒 Opening Hours: 8:30 AM - 9:30 PM (the night view is absolutely breathtaking—don’t miss it!) 【Must-Visit Spots】 1⃣️ Baihe Cliff: Offers a panoramic view of the entire scenic area with excellent sightlines! 2⃣️ Lanyue Bridge: Beautiful both day and night, a great spot for photos. 3⃣️ Baizhou Bridge: A fantasy-themed photo spot with streams, villages... a paradise for ancient-style photography lovers. 4⃣️ Opera Stage Square: The perfect place for bonfire parties and experiencing local folk culture. 5⃣️ Yanpu Old Street: Filled with rustic Jiangxi charm, where you can immerse yourself in the history and culture of Wangxian Valley. 6⃣️ Cliffside Homestays: Walkways and lodgings built right into the cliffs. Drone photography is recommended, especially during the blue hour—it’s stunning. ❌ Route Warnings Avoid high heels ❌! The stone slabs near the waterfalls are super slippery (I saw three people fall). ⭕ Hidden Route: After passing Sandie Waterfall, don’t rush back! Take the small path on the right leading to the "Immortal Maiden Drying Herbs" viewing platform (90% of tourists miss this). 🍜 Foodie Guide Don’t buy the 15 RMB coarse rice inside the scenic area! The same thing is sold for 5 RMB at stalls set up by villagers near the exit. Highly recommend Wangxian Winter Melon Tea (from the glass booth)—made with winter melons grown on the cliffs, it’s the ultimate summer refresher! Restaurants are concentrated on Yanpu Street, but most close between 2:00 PM and 4:30 PM, so bringing snacks is a must!
