A trip to Osborne House on the Isle of Wight, UK

Today we took the ferry from Portsmouth with Wight Link, buying a round-trip ticket for £40 per person. Then we took the train to Shanklin, with a one-way ticket costing £5.7 per person. While we were in bed, we were notified that the train was canceled, but when we got down, it said 'on time.' We thought the train should be coming, so we decided to wait, but to be on the safe side, we followed the staff's advice and walked to the next station to wait. Our guess was correct; the train did come to the pier. After arriving at Shanklin, we followed the navigation to the hotel, which wasn't far. The Clifton was lucky enough to let us check in at just after 12 o'clock. After a short rest, we took the No. 2 bus to Newport and then transferred to the No. 5 bus to Osborne House. With a two-day public transport pass, we got a 20% discount on the entrance tickets, costing £40 for two people after the discount. The house has three floors in total and isn't very large. There are quite a lot of artifacts. Considering it has been preserved for over a hundred years, it's not easy. Queen Victoria passed away in 1901 in her bedroom on the first floor of Osborne House. The weather wasn't great today; it was windy and rainy.
