Shantou | Zhongshan Park

Address: No. 5, Yuemei Road, Jinping District, Shantou City Opening Hours: 06:00 - 23:00 Admission: Free Zhongshan Park, located in Jinping District, is the oldest and largest comprehensive park in Shantou City. It is also one of China's "Four Great Artificial Gardens." The park covers a total area of 20.18 hectares, including Yujian Lake, which spans 3.6 hectares. Surrounded by water on all sides, the park is bordered by the Han River, Shantou's main river, to the north, while the other three sides are artificial waterways. The park is connected to Shantou's urban area by three bridges. Within the park, you can find the main gate archway, a statue of Sun Yat-sen, the Nine-Bend Bridge, an artificial hill, Guanhuagong, a zoo, the Shantou Museum (old building), Guishan, Shengzhi Pavilion, Haoran Pavilion, a swimming area, and other structures and attractions.
