During its opening, I had the chance to experience and review it, and my verdict is: Far exceeded expectations, worth staying! I was amazed by its style and design, and moved by its service and attention to detail. The hotel is named The Kapok Shaoxing, a Hyatt Affinity Hotel. "Kapok" is China Resources' own high-end hotel brand, while "Hyatt Affinity" is Hyatt's lifestyle brand that blends local culture, together creating a one-of-a-kind hotel in Shaoxing. The hotel is located in Yuecheng’s central business district—Shaoxing Tiandi. This area is not only a new city landmark but also enjoys a prime location in the cultural and lifestyle circle. Within a 15-minute drive, you can easily reach attractions like Lu Xun's Hometown, Cangqiao Straight Street, Shen Garden, and the Hometown of the Calligraphy Sage. The transportation hub is conveniently accessible, with Shaoxing Station just 8 minutes away and Shaoxing North Station only 25 minutes by car. The evening ritual includes "Starry Night Prelude" and "Yuejun Southern Lyrics," cultural experiences carefully curated by the hotel to surprise guests. The turndown service is heartwarming, providing a steam eye mask and a handwritten note with a hand-drawn Lazy Sheep—truly adorable.
