🌠Tashilhunpo Monastery, located at the foot of Nyiseri Mountain in Shigatse, Tibet, is one of the four major Gelugpa monasteries of Tibetan Buddhism, along with the three major monasteries in Lhasa: Ganden Monastery, Sera Monastery, and Drepung Monastery. It is the traditional seat of successive Panchen Lamas. 🌅The monastery covers an area of 150,000 square meters and has 14 golden roofs, 4 Zhacang (monk colleges), 57 scripture halls, 3,600 rooms, and a quota of 4,400 monks. The center of the monastery is the hall area, where the Coqen Hall, Panchen Lama's residence, Jambhala Hall, and Sunning Buddha Terrace are located. 🎇Every building and every corridor within the monastery exudes a mystical and sacred charm, offering a sanctuary for every belief.
