[Fukushima] Ouchi-juku: A nostalgic sight with its thatched roofs

During the Edo period, Ouchi-juku flourished as a post town on the old Aizu Nishi Kaido road connecting Aizu-Wakamatsu and Nikko. Even now, the thatched-roof houses are lined up just like they were in the Edo period. Stepping inside makes you feel like you've traveled back in time to the Edo period! The peaceful atmosphere of thatched roofs as far as the eye can see. There were not many tourists because it was the off-season, so I was able to fully immerse myself in the atmosphere of Ouchi-juku☺️ The houses along the main street are run by local residents who run souvenir shops and restaurants, so you can enjoy eating and shopping.
