Akama Jingu Shrine, a beautiful shrine overlooking the Kanmon Strait

Less than 10 minutes' walk along the main road from the Shimonoseki Pier, there is a shrine located halfway up the mountain. Due to its past history, it is full of ghost stories, but you won't feel scared when you come here. On the contrary, due to its excellent location, you can overlook the Kanmon Strait and the Kanmon Bridge. It is a good place to take scenery photos.
