Enjoy it all year round! The coveted resort pool

A day spent at Tomamu's Minami-Mina Beach was a blissful experience, as if I had traveled back in time to a "summer paradise." The temperature inside exceeds 30 degrees Celsius, and a huge 30m x 80m wave pool spreads out in a large glass-walled space, making it a true indoor beach! The wave production, which is made up of "normal" and "rough" waves that come once every 30 minutes, is more impressive than expected, and even adults can't help but get fascinated by it. There is also a shallow pool and jet bath for children, so it is safe for families. You can't help but smile at the sight of kids frolicking in small swim rings and laughing as they lose their balance on the edge of the water. There is also a wide variety of rental goods, and you can rent swimsuits and swim rings, and try SUP, so you can come empty-handed and start playing right away. We warmed up our chilled bodies in the "Kirin no Yu" bath, and alternated between the hot spring and the pool, which was very elegant. We enjoyed a blissful time immersed in the extraordinary feeling of being surrounded by the sound of the waves and the green scenery, while munching on gelato and soft parfaits made with Hokkaido ingredients at the cafe inside the building. The greatest attraction of Minami-Mina Beach is the contrast between being able to enjoy the perpetual summer while looking at the snowy scenery even in winter.
