422 years old town in Japan

A beautiful Edo period post town that's beautifully preserved. Narai-Juku is 422 years old and still as charming. Took some effort to get there from Nagano but it was worth the two hours journey there. There were some quaint restaurants and we went to one that serves udon. Amazing experience to dine inside a traditional Japanese building. There were also some interesting shops to buy souvenirs and snacks.
