Around Xi'an | 2-hr Direct Access to a Scenic "Little Jiangnan" With Few People

During the Labor Day holiday, many scenic spots are crowded with people! Until I discovered this niche "Jiangnan Secret Realm" 🍃 around Xi'an. Compared to the crowded scenic spots in Xi'an, this place is much quieter. 🚗 It's only a 2-hr drive from Xi'an! Emerald lakes, waterfalls, streams, tea mountains, forests, and endless beautiful scenery! - In the ancient town, we ate Qinba stone pot fish 🐠, which was delicious. In the evening, we sat by the Hongshibao River and enjoyed the breeze 🌬️, taking photos 📸. It felt like a beach vacation 🏖️. We stayed at the Jingjiang International Hotel, which had huge floor-to-ceiling windows. In the morning, we opened the curtains to see the sunrise and a panoramic view of the river, which was incredibly beautiful! - 📍 Location: Shiquan Old Street 🚗 Transportation: 2-hr drive from Xi'an, right off the highway 🚞 Train: 10 min by taxi from "Shiquan Station" - [2 Days 1 Night Self-Driving Route] 🗺️ ▪️Day 1: Xi'an ➡️ Yanshan Waterfall ➡️ Shiquan Old Street (stay in Shiquan Ancient City) ▪️Day 2: Hanjiang Three Gorges ➡️ Houliu Water Town (take a boat trip) ➡️ Return to Xi'an - Recommended Check-in Spots ✅ 1️⃣ [Yanshan Waterfall] Requires a 2.5-hr walk. It's only 15 minutes away from Houliu Water Town. It's very niche and retains the original Bashan landscape. The emerald-like green pool is like an emerald inlaid in the mountains. There are two pools where you can play on bamboo rafts. It is recommended to wear non-slip stream tracing shoes for a great experience! 2️⃣ [Shiquan Old Street] The old street is not big, and you can walk through it in 20 minutes! It sells various local products from southern Shaanxi. The stone pot fish is super delicious. After eating, walk along the old street to the west gate, and go down the steps to the Han River on the north side. You can see the famous Hongshibao, which is great for taking photos 📸. 3️⃣ [Hanjiang Three Gorges] A light boat sails through the mist, a 40-minute Han River rafting trip, turning into a pool of spring water in the mountains, rivers, clouds, and smoke. 4️⃣ [Houliu Water Town] "Little Jiangnan of Shaanxi" With beautiful mountains and clear waters ⛰️, the second floor of the boat offers a better view! The whole journey takes about 1 hour. There is no fixed departure time, so ask clearly before deciding. After the boat trip, you can go to the nearby Houliu Ancient Town to eat snacks. 🍃 If you are tired of the scenic spots in the city, then come to Shiquan Ancient Town to spend two days in comfort~
