300-year-old painting of gods fighting｜Gods fighting

Jizhuang San Da Wang Temple was built in the third year of the Tianshun period (1459). The east hall of the temple enshrines the mother of the three kings, Princess Tuoba, the daughter of Emperor Daowu of Northern Wei, Tuoba Gui. She once traveled to Shentou Spring and drank the spring water, and became pregnant without marriage, giving birth to the three kings. In the gold-painted mural in the hall, a graceful lady in red stands in the pavilion, who is Princess Tuoba. Beside her is a young maid. Below the pavilion are two officials, one civil and one military, who are listening attentively. In the foreground is a ceremonial procession, with various figures. Some hold fire wheels, some blow horns, some hold gourds, and some hold squares, following the three kings. Together with the rolling clouds and waves, they form a magnificent mythical world.
