Don't hesitate to visit Cambodia! Angkor Wat without tourists is truly worth it!

A special three-and-a-half-day National Day trip to Angkor Wat turned out to be an amazing experience! I happened to visit during the local Ghost Festival, and there were mostly Cambodian locals around. The advantage of fewer tourists is that you can walk alone among the stone pillars and feel the vastness of history. Another impression is that it is much safer and more convenient than expected. Chinese is widely spoken, and the locals are very simple and honest. The only downside is that it's extremely hot this season, with sweat pouring every day.
