The Trees Roots Temple

#bucketlistreboot Ta Prohm was built in Bayon style largely in the late 12th and early 13th centuries by King Jayavarman VII to dedicate his mother. It is located 1.2 kilometers 4 minutes drive from Ta Keo. Ta Prohm is a temple of towers, closed courtyards and narrow corridors. Many of the corridors are impassable, clogged with carved stone blocks dislodged by the roots of the trees. Ta Prohm is one of the three most visited sites by the tourists, because it is in much the same condition in which it was found. The combination of trees, roots growing out of the ruins and the jungle surroundings make it become more photogenic.
