#MarchGoodPlaces2025 The Salimbeni Palace is located in Siena, Italy, and stands on the square named after it. This palace has a unique geographical location. It is adjacent to the Cantucci Palace on the left and the Spanocky Palace on the right. The three buildings together form a beautiful landscape on the square. In the center of the square, a statue of Bandini Sallustio sculpted by Titus Salocchi in 1882 stands tall, adding a sense of solemnity and history to the square. The Palazzo Salipponi itself was given new life in 1879 after a careful renovation and expansion by Giuseppe Partini in the neo-Gothic style. It is particularly worth mentioning that this palace is not only a treasure of architectural art, but also the headquarters of the world's oldest bank still in operation - Monte Via di Siena (since 1472).
