Shangri-La Staycay Best Family Staycay!

Service - 100% Upgraded our deluxe room to a one bedroom suite and it was the best decision made. Hotel provided baby monitor which allowed us to be out of the bedroom, chilling in the living room as baby slept. Hotel also prepared anniversary cake and deco for us. Lovely! Everyone was friendly. One staff, Raja even provided free plain noodles for our toddler’s dinner on two consecutive nights (the first night we asked, the second night he actually remembered and offered!). Cleaning staff were also very prompt. Needed to change our bedsheet quickly cos toddler spilled water right before his bedtime and Cindy got it done within 10 min. Facilities - 100% Splash playground and buds were great for our toddler. Limited time slots was a bummer but can only blame the covid situation right… hotel did their best in accommodating the guests within the restrictions given. Swimming pool was great! Water was warm early in the morning. Toddler had a lot of fun in the water. Food - only tried the breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapé at the summit. Usual buffet spread - nothing special to mention. But their free flow drinks was a very very good deal. I’m not a drinker but I had like 4 alcoholic drinks at one go. Port wine was good! Singapore sling was memorable. The rest was okkkkk. But I love how the service staff were prompt in serving us drinks and food. Overall, it’s not cheap but it’s worth every penny paid.
