#singaporetrip Singapore Zoo – the wild wonder that made my 2023 trip unforgettable! 🦓🌿 The entrance fee of 38 SGD was a fantastic deal for the immersive wildlife experience that awaited. Nestled in the lush Mandai Rainforest, the zoo feels like a green oasis. The open-concept enclosures give the animals ample space, and it's incredible to see them roam in environments mirroring their natural habitats. 🌳🐘 The star of the show is the Fragile Forest – walking into a world where free-flying birds, butterflies, and adorable lemurs interacted with visitors. It was like stepping into a tropical paradise. 🌺🦋 The Rainforest Kidzworld is perfect for families. My inner child (and the actual kids around) enjoyed the water play area and the chance to feed farm animals. 🚿🐑 The Orangutan Exhibit, set in a vast space resembling a Borneo rainforest, allowed me to get up close with these incredible primates. The zoo's efforts in conservation and education shine through. 🌏🦧 The zoo's location is a stone's throw from the River Safari and the Night Safari – both fantastic extensions for a day full of wildlife exploration. 🚤🌙 Adjacent to the zoo is the Singapore Discovery Centre, adding a touch of history and science to the visit. A great spot to balance the day with some educational fun. 🌐🔬 The Ah Meng Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with a view of the free-ranging white tigers. It's a unique way to enjoy a meal surrounded by wildlife. 🍲🐅 Pro tip: Check the animal feeding and show schedules – catching the animal presentations adds an entertaining and educational layer to the visit.
