Authentic Portuguese Food In SG

Brought my bestfriend here for her birthday celebration. For starters we got the Octopus salad and Oxtail Croquettes along with some complimentary bread & olive oil. The croquette is a must-try! It was so good we wanted to get more but we were too full by the end of our meal. Mains: - Polvo Assado, Puré de Batata Doce, Alho Fermentado (Roasted Atlantic Octopus, Sweet Potato Purée, Fermented Garlic) This was so delicious; the sweet potato puree compliments the octopus so well. It was recommended to us by our waiter and extremely tasty. - Bacalhau à Brás It's look may be deceiving because it doesn't look like much but it was quite yummy. The fish was so fresh. My bestfriend who dislikes fish dishes even admitted to enjoying the dish. Dessets: - Portuguese egg tart The egg tart was so fragrant and warm. I still think about it till this day. 10/10 must try - Drunken Pear with Vanilla Ice Cream This surprised us because it didn't look very promising, but it was SO good. Along with the ice-cream it just melts into your mouth. For drinks we wanted to get the Red Sangria Jug, but the waiter recommended us to try the Rose Sangria Jug instead which was perfect for the extremely hot weather. The staff were all very as well and kept coming over to refill our cups or check in on us. However, I don't think they offer anything complimentary for birthdays so maybe take note on that when planning a special occasion Overall, it was worth the visit.
