New Year Staycay with Conrad

Price per night - under $300 (with Trip.com promotion and SRV) Rating - 💫💫💫💫 Conrad Singapore has finally open to staycationers after serving the nation as a SHN facility. Can’t wait to go back to reminisce the pleasant experience as the last time we went was ages ago. When trip.com had a hotel package promotion, we didn’t hesitate and straight away book a night to spend the new year before the kids start their school term. It was a cold day on check-in day as it has been raining the past 48 hours. Front desk was very efficient and the queue cleared very quickly. We got our key within half an hour and managed to get connecting rooms. Rooms came with a long couch which is pretty spacious hence we don’t need an extra bed. It’s so nice to wake up the next morning facing the Marina Bay. With $200 dining credit from 2 rooms, we visited the famed Golden Peony and we didn’t regret. It’s all worth it. Lucky the rain stopped the next morning and we managed to get an early slot to use the pool. There isn’t much people probably due to the cold waters from few days of rain. Rain came back after we are done with our swim. Lucky! Lucky! Due to an incident from the heavy long drawn downpour, instead of just the 2 breakfasts which were included, all of us got to have breakfast with a late check out at 4pm. The kids were overjoyed at the thought of another few hours in the hotel. Conrad’s service standard is still as good as the last experience many years ago and this time with the kids loving it too.
