With its charming colonial architecture, lush greenery, and tranquil ambiance, it’s the perfect setting for an intimate afternoon. For our meal, we indulged in the Nasi Lemak Burger, a creative twist on the beloved local dish, and the Crispy Pork Belly Pasta, a rich and satisfying treat. To start, we shared a plate of Fried Crab Ball Bites, perfectly golden and crispy—an irresistible appetizer to whet our appetites. After lunch, we took a leisurely stroll around the area, admiring the beautiful surroundings before making our way into town for a bit of exploring. — Clarke Quay: Scenic Walk and Dinner After enjoying the peaceful atmosphere at Chijmes, we walked over to Clarke Quay for stunning views of the Singapore River. The picturesque surroundings, with the iconic colorful shophouses and boats, make it the perfect spot for a leisurely evening walk. For dinner, we headed to JuWei at Safra Clarke Quay, known for its authentic Nanyang-style dishes and aesthetic decor that adds to the charming vibe of the place. We enjoyed a flavorful serving of Malaysian-style Char Kuay Teow, alongside the Fried Crispy Chicken Leg Nasi Lemak, which was crispy and perfectly seasoned. As a side, we couldn’t resist the Fried Red Pork Belly, adding a rich and savory touch to the meal. We also cooled down with their signature Ice Coffee and kaya bites, a refreshing and perfect finish to the meal.
